Product description
The Other Side of Oud by Atkinsons is inspired by Prince Hussein's mission to create an independent Arab state, whose recognition he had to seek from King George V himself, as well as the typical Middle Eastern aroma of coffee with cardamom. This luxurious oud composition is presented as a cocktail of woody notes, bright and enveloping, combined with the spicy scent of warm cinnamon, fresh cardamom, and piquant ginger. At the heart of the fragrance lies the languid oud in a bouquet of geranium and coffee flowers. The composition's trail resonates with the chord of roasted coffee and is softened by the tenderness of vanilla absolute. Oud, a pungent resin from the wood also known as agarwood, has been used in Arab countries for many centuries, often serving as the base for bakhoor, a mixture of aromatic oil with myrrh and frankincense. The fragrance is presented in a rectangular bottle with engraving and embossing. With a majestic coat of arms and a cylindrical cap, the engraved pattern of which echoes the woven ornament on the ancient Atkinsons bottles. The bottle design becomes a tangible embodiment of the brand's 200-year history of unparalleled elegance. Atkinsons aims to provide modern gentlemen and ladies with tools to express their own individuality.
