"I aimed to create a multifaceted fragrance for men that would combine freshness with a gentle shade. I used grapefruit to give the fragrance an invigorating first impression, as I always need a burst of freshness to wake up in the morning. I also wanted to use aromatic notes that are familiar to men from their usual grooming products: sage and rosemary. They convey a sense of cleanliness, like after taking a shower. In the base notes, I added vanilla and musk to create comfort with sensual woody notes," says Clément Gavarry, perfumer at Firmenich.
