Account and data deletion
Request deletion of your LETOILE account or personal data
You can request deletion of your LETOILE account and associated personal data from the LETOILE mobile app when the delete account option is available in your app version. You can also contact Customer Care from this page to request account deletion or deletion of selected personal data without deleting your account.
How to delete your account in the app
Open the LETOILE app and sign in to the account you want to delete. Go to Profile or Account settings, open your personal information, then choose Delete account if the option is shown. Confirm the request to delete your LETOILE account and sign out.
How to request deletion through Customer Care
Use the Contact Customer Care page and include the phone number or email address used for your LETOILE account. Tell us whether you want to delete the full account or only selected data. We may ask you to verify that you own the account before completing the request.
Data deleted after an account deletion request
When your account deletion request is completed, we delete or de-identify the LETOILE customer account data we can associate with the account, including profile details, sign-in identifiers, contact details, app account identifiers, saved preferences and marketing consent records where deletion is permitted.
Data that may be retained
Some records may be retained when required for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute, refund, delivery or customer service obligations. This can include order, payment, invoice, delivery, refund and support records. These records are kept only for the required retention period, which may be up to 7 years for transaction records where applicable. Backup copies are deleted or overwritten within 90 days where technically possible.
Request deletion of selected data only
You can request deletion of some personal data without deleting your LETOILE account by contacting Customer Care. Tell us what data you want deleted, such as marketing preferences or optional profile details. Account, order and transaction records required to provide the service or meet legal obligations may be retained.
