Black Opium was released by the house of YVES SAINT LAURENT in 2014. This sensual fragrance belongs to the floral-oriental group. It was created by four talented perfumers – Marie Salamagne, Nathalie Lorson, Olivier Cresp, and Honorine Blanc. The Eau de Parfum is a new interpretation of the classic Opium fragrance.
The top notes of the composition feature aromatic coffee. It inspires and awakens hidden feelings and emotions. The heart notes consist of orange blossom, jasmine, and pink pepper. These refined, soft accords make the perfume balanced and cohesive. The base notes combine the freshness of cedar with a gentle, sweet accord of vanilla, complemented by patchouli.
