Bois Doré is an absolutely precious masterpiece of craftsmanship. The fusion of wood nuances and the noble shine of gold. Fabrice Pellegrin - perfumer of Bois Doré - chose noble cedarwood for its preciousness and tonka bean for its almost hypnotic intensity and splendour. A hint of musk and vanilla gives the irresistible fragrance radiance and character. An addictive, very sensual fragrance.
Tonka beans are the fruits of the Brazilian teak tree, which can reach a height of up to 20m in the Amazon rainforest. When these beans are dried, their aromas crystallize and exude that characteristic, fascinating signature - a sensual blend of tobacco, vanilla and almond nuances. About 30,000 tonka beans are needed for the extraction of only 1 kg of the precious Absolue.
