Collagen cannot be absorbed by the skin topically, i.e through creams or serums. The molecule is simply too large to absorb through the skins' layers. Peptides are short chain amino acids, much smaller generally than collagen and if you select the right ones, they are small enough to get through to the lower layers of the skin and begin signalling to your skin cells to make more collagen. 0.8% Peptide complex: Containing acetyl hexapeptide-8 and palmitoyl tripeptide-1 to plump, hydrate and smooth, by talking directly to your skin cells and motivating them to make more collagen.
