Product description
Discover your senses on an olfactory journey signed by Mauboussin Parfums. A deep dive into the heart of your purest and strongest emotions. An expedition to the core of a contrasting and unexpected fragrance, leading to the discovery of elegant and authentic noble materials. Mauboussin Discovery begins with fresh fruity notes of Calabrian bergamot and sharp green apple. At the heart of the fragrance, the strength of jasmine and thyme delicately combines with cardamom seeds, exuding the scent of cold and bright spices. The trail unfolds with woody and animal notes thanks to an ultra-masculine and intense patchouli/leather accord.

The Fragrance Pyramid

The Fragrance Pyramid

The top or initial notes, woven from light and volatile components, give the composition its initial sound and create a mood. These notes last for a few minutes and prepare for the main fragrance.

The bright sound of the top notes smoothly transitions into the main accord – the heart notes. This is where the main melody plays, defining the fragrance's family, character, and recognizability. They can last up to 2 hours.

The heart notes transition into the warmth of the final, trailing, or base notes. These notes give the composition a sensual sound, ensure the longevity of the composition, and determine its richness. They can last up to 8 hours.

The duration of the notes depends on the fragrance composition, skin characteristics, application method, and is provided as an estimate.

About the brand

MAUBOUSSIN
Passionate about perfumery, Patrik Mauboussin, who led the brand in the 90s, proposed to create 'precious perfumes.' The first bottle in the shape of a tetrahedron symbolized the crystallization of an uncut diamond — an obvious choice of shape for a jeweler creating gifts for women. Since then, the concept of MAUBOUSSIN perfumery has been built around jewelry: noble, exquisite, and imbued with the brand's characteristic originality. Like jewelry, MAUBOUSSIN fragrances combine accessibility and superior quality. MAUBOUSSIN – jewels embodied in scents.
