This fragrance captures the atmosphere of an old Tuscan mansion, where aged wood, leather, and the smoky warmth of tobacco blend effortlessly into a cozy yet refined setting.
Created by Delphine Thierry, Montecristo is an opulent, textured composition. It opens with ambrette seed, adding a musky, nutty nuance, followed by boozy rum, tobacco, and styrax. The heart glows with the rare Golden Stone (Hyraceum), a sustainable animalic musk, while patchouli, guaiac wood, and cabreuva deepen the richness. The result is a sophisticated, warm, and intimate fragrance, where smoky woods, ambered resins, and sensual musks intertwine to evoke the soul of an old-world retreat.
