Shea Butter: Known for generations for its nourishing and soothing properties, shea butter is obtained from the nut of a fruit native to tropical Africa. The nut is dried, roasted, and then churned to produce a rich, creamy butter composed of 50% lipids that help to replenish the hair’s hydrolipidic film. It provides nutrition and softness to dry hair.
Babassu Butter: Babassu is a palm native to Brazil, and its butter was used by the Maya in cosmetics for its nourishing properties. Extracted from its seeds by mechanical pressing, this butter is particularly valued because it is quickly absorbed without leaving a greasy finish.
