The founders and ideologists of the brand are scientists Simone Xavier and René Xavier Philho, who launched Sigma Beauty in 2009 in the USA. Sigma is the letter 'Σ' of the Greek alphabet, a mathematical symbol representing the sum, meaning the connection of all our passions and virtues,' say the founders.
