The success story of Frei Ol® began in 1996, when in Nuremberg, Germany, pharmacist Walter Bouhon, who had spent many years researching the effects of plant oils on human skin, came up with the idea of enriching these oils with various vitamins. The formulas of Frei Ol® by Bouhon represented a composition of oils similar in nature to the natural lipids of human skin, organically strengthening its protective functions and helping to maintain water balance. Quite quickly, this unique oil-based product transformed from something known to a narrow circle of enthusiasts into a popular brand preferred by thousands of consumers. In the following years, other innovative skincare formulas were developed based on Frei Ol®. Today, Frei Ol® is one of the highest quality and most relevant brands in the pharmacy cosmetics segment.
