Our highly stable form of Vitamin C - sodium ascorbyl phosphate - keeps its potency without oxidising when in contact with air. As a result, it requires only 3% concentration for visible results. At the turn of the millennium, Stephen de Heinrich de Omorovicza was living in Budapest, where he met his wife, Margaret, who was chief of staff at the US embassy. When Stephen and Margaret de Heinrich de Omorovicza experienced the powerful effects of Budapest’s mineral-rich waters at the thermal bath Stephen’s ancestor built, they were inspired to found Omorovicza, bringing the benefits to all. They established Omorovicza, inspired by the curative effects of Budapest’s bathing culture, with the idea of harnessing the waters’ potential – the ritual, the experience, the effectiveness – for everyone. Enlisting the help of a laboratory of dermatology, Margaret and Stephen developed and patented Omorovicza’s Healing Concentrate™, launching the brand in 2006.
