Product description

It all started with a Chinese snuffbox, an exquisite piece of Asian art deco art that deeply impressed Atkinsons. Amber Empire became one of the first oriental fragrances introduced to the Western world in 1927. At the time, it was a mesmerizing foreign scent, mysterious and refined, like the Far East. In the 21st century, Amber Empire is not so much exotic as it is modern and incredibly sensual. Created on the basis of precious amber notes, earthy and rich, subtly captured in the slowly swirling steam of oolong tea, Amber Empire unfolds with a willful, atmospheric fragrance, enveloping and persistent. An absolutely oriental composition that will take you on a sensual journey through the sultry, mysterious corners of the Far East. The fragrance is presented in a rectangular bottle with engraving and embossing. With a majestic coat of arms and a cylinder cap, the engraved pattern of which echoes the woven ornament on the ancient Atkinsons bottles. The bottle design becomes a tangible embodiment of the brand's 200-year history of unparalleled elegance. Atkinsons aims to provide modern gentlemen and ladies with tools for expressing their own individuality.

About the brand

ATKINSONS

Atkinsons 1799 is one of the oldest perfume houses and embodies English perfumery, recognized worldwide among royalty and aristocracy. Aristocracy, a key value of Atkinsons, is felt in everything, from the design of the bottle to the retail positioning carried out through luxury perfume shops. In the early 19th century, James Atkinson created an English cologne, remarkably fresh, simultaneously warm and spicy, yet completely unlike the fashionable Italian colognes. The brand's archives hold original handwritten books containing information about the brand's products, original catalogs, bottles, and labels, as well as mentions of the most devoted clients, including Napoleon Bonaparte. Despite its rich history, against the backdrop of English perfumery, which is held hostage by its past, Atkinsons positions itself as a brand perfectly suited for the lifestyle of modern ladies and gentlemen.
