The sodium salts of lactic acid and gluconic acid contained in the body wash are components of the skin’s own natural moisturising factor. They improve the skin’s moisture binding and prevent it from drying out. Plant-based prebiotics such as inulin from chicory extract and oligosaccharides maintain the balance of the skin flora.
