This scent was created in honour of Amelia Brooke, Simon’s great grandmother, who was the key to his discovery of the lost perfume house. Amelia’s father was the founder, John Grossmith.
Amelia is a soft and elegant chypre which opens with enticing notes of neroli and osmanthus, and develops into a smooth floral heart of rose, peony and jasmine, supported by warm amber. Patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver and cashmere musks form the long-lasting and rounded base.

Grossmith is owned and run by the fifth and sixth generations of the Grossmith family, direct descendants of John Grossmith. All the family, Simon, Amanda, Eleanor and Kate Brooke are actively involved in running the business which is truly family owned and managed. We are unique in knowing all of our suppliers and stockists personally. We relish the opportunity to travel to introduce our fragrances and tell our story in person.
